Dr. Wladkowski is the Benz Endowed Professor and an Associate Professor of social work at Bowling Green State University. Her main research interest has focused on live discharge from hospice, or when individuals stop receiving hospice care due to no longer meeting eligibility requirements. She has years of clinical practice in hospice and palliative care, which informs her research and teaching in health, aging, interprofessional education, and end-of-life care. Dr. Wladkowski is a past board member of the Social Work Hospice and Palliative Care Network and is a 2020 recipient of Cambia Health Foundation's Sojourns Scholar Leadership Program.
