Erin is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse with 17 years of experience in hospice and adult and pediatric oncology. She is a member of the NHPCO End-of-Life Doula Advisory Council, the board of directors for the Oregon Hospice and Palliative Care Association, and co-founder of The Peaceful Presence Project, which helps educate the community about preparing for and talking about serious illnesses.
Erin earned a master’s degree in nursing education from Oregon Health and Science University and graduated from the Being with Dying program at Upaya Zen Center. She is a trainer for the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium.
