Brandy Ficek MD, MBA
Medical Director, Palliative Medicine & Supportive Care, Stormont-Vail Health and Kansas Palliative Care and Quality of Life Advisory Council
Dr. Ficek is a board-certified palliative care physician, and is the medical director of Palliative Medicine and Supportive Care at Stormont Vail Health. In addition, she currently serves as Chair of the Kansas Palliative Care and Quality of Life Advisory Council. Her research efforts and emphasis in her daily work are to improve the care of the entire family when a patient is facing serious illness. In recognition of this, she has received numerous awards including Phoenix Magazine’s “2016 Top Doctor” award, Arizona Business Magazine’s “Most Influential Millennials”, and the Center for Practical Bioethics “2020 Ethics Champion.”
