Angela Davis-Collins, RNC LNC, has worked in healthcare for over 28 years, including more than 25 years in healthcare administration. Presently, she serves as the Executive Lead of Patient Experience/Service Excellence at University Medical Center New Orleans.
Angela holds a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University and a nursing degree from Charity-Delgado School of Nursing, and studied for a Master of Hospital Administration at Central Michigan University. Angela was certified by Louisiana State University’s in the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and Legal Nurse Consultant programs. Angela worked as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Loyola University New Orleans, and as faculty at Louisiana State University School of Nursing and Cameron College. Angela was recognized as one of the Great 100 Nurses of Louisiana, and featured in American Nurses, and Outstanding Leadership. Angela has recently received certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace and Lean Six SIGMA, Certified Green Belt. Understanding the importance of mindfulness, she has completed her studies with The Schwartz Center in Schwartz Rounds and Stress First Aid (Trauma Informed Care).
