Amie Koch DNP, FNP-C, RN, ACHPN

Amie M. Koch, DNP, FNP-C, RN, ACHPN, is an assistant professor at Duke University School of Nursing in Durham, North Carolina. Amie Koch Teaches in the ABSN and MSN program, as well as mentors DNP and PhD students. Her current research focuses on difficult conversations communication, shared decision making, goals of care (pediatric and adult), climate change impact on health, racism and white supremacy, as well as LGBTQIA+ wellness. As a family nurse practitioner she provides pediatric and adult community-based palliative care and hospice. She has also works in a community health clinic.She is a social justice activist.
